In the State of Texas, abortions are illegal. A heartbeat can be detected as early as six weeks.
How does an abortion work?
Depending on the abortion, the baby and placenta is removed from the uterus either chemically or surgically. Only a licensed doctor can perform an abortion. The procedures are different depending on how far along you are (first trimester or second trimester).
